  • One small act of courage is the first step to overcoming tremendous challenge.

Seeking help is a tremendous act of courage. If you are looking for help to heal, cope, and thrive, there is hope. Over the past decade I have had the joy of seeing people recover from trauma, learn to manage anxiety, improve depression, and find a more satisfying life.

Although therapists don’t have a magic wand, counseling can be lifechanging. Because it involves talking about personal or painful situations it is important that you have a counselor that you can grow to trust. Before scheduling an appointment I offer a free phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. We can discuss your goals and help you move to the next step.

*Trauma, Anxiety, Depression (CPT, TEAM CBT, other integrated methods)

    *Weight Loss and Maintenance (CBT)

    Alisa Evans

I believe all people deserve a place to be heard, not judged; helped, not hurt; and valued, not shamed. I love to sit with someone to hear their story, to value their process, and to help them move closer to their goals. Over the years I have worked to help others as an educator and serving in ministry. For nearly a decade I have worked in outpatient therapy settings, providing behavioral and mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
